Linda Obasi earned a Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from The Theatre School (DePaul University) and a Bachelor of Arts in Film from Cornell University. She first appeared on stage at the age of twelve in a production of the musical Oliver Twist in the Bronx, New York. She went on to study western classical music, concentrating on voice and piano.
Linda's stage credits include the roles of Abeba in Waking Kya, Sylvia in Uniform Justice, Nan/Lina in Three Days of Rain, the Chorus in Electra and Thaisa in Pericles, Prince of Tyre. Her screen credits include Debbie in Silent Prejudice, Adhaobi in Overseas, Gift in When Men Fail, Karen in Beast Among Us and Takara in Koraney. She is currently narrating a documentary series on food and wellness called The Fufu Diet.
A natural storyteller, Linda Obasi chose the profession of acting for the privilege of collaborating with other artists to bring life to stories that entertain, inspire and enlighten.
